13 new sketch cards

Three new sketch cards from a big new batch. I'm adding grays to these, and I think it adds a nice, extra dimension:

Unfortunately, my scanner does not agree. It refuses to recognize these grays and just scans the blacks. Which sucks. So I'm photographing them, which both works and doesn't.

Two more:

Of course, the photos are all just a weee bit out of focus, but they capture the grays, so I'm happy.

Here's the entire new set:

Anger

Here's a new one. Just drawn yesterday, in fact! The first of a new set of surreal drawings. Hope you like it!

Blow-top

Another scream. What can I say?

Bride of Frank

What is it with me and screams?

This is one of my favorite illos. I think I need to re-scan it. But so it goes.

Welcome to Platt Arts!

Okay, so I draw, see? And these pictures, they don't have to exist only for me. This here bloggity thing is a chance for me to show 'em off, and you to enjoy them (or not).

Here's drawing number one. I call it "Scream # 5," for the obvious reason that it's the fifth drawing of a person screaming that I've scanned.

Lots more to come. And check out the webcomic for drawings with words!
